Interesting post delving into the authenticity of the September 2012 Assange “Enemy of the State” designation.
Confusing reports surfaced the last week of September 2012 about a document from the US Air Force stating that the United States of America considers Julian Assange and WikiLeaks “Enemy of the State”. It was first reported by the Sydney Morning Herald and picked up by other news organizations.
The document was acquired through the “Freedom of Information Act” (FOI) and on the summary it explained the nature of the complaint that the US Air Force was responsive to:
“MATTERS ALLEGED: COMMUNICATING WITH THE ENEMY, 104-D-”
The investigation was initiated on information received from a Lt. Col.,(Name Blacked Out) Commander United Kingdom who witnessed the subject of the report experience an emotional breakdown. Upon inquiry the report states that ” … subject stated that she had been meeting with an anti-US and or anti-military group in London and she could not take it anymore.”
